Transfer to Sigiriya.
Enroute will be stopping at the sacred temple in Mihintale, the Aukana Temple, and Sri Lanka's oldest city, Anuradhapura.
Anuradhapura, a historic city tour, is the first stop on the three-day itinerary.
Buddhist temples, stupas, palaces, gardens, and other amazing city constructions that bear witness to the magnificence of ancient civilisation are among the many historical sites found in Anuradhapura.
The eight holiest Buddhist landmarks in the city, or "Atamasthana," are also part of the Anuradhapura City Tour. These include Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya, Ruwanwelisaya, Thuparamaya, Lovamahapaya, Abhayagiri Dagaba, Jetavanarama, Mirisaveti Stupa, and Lankarama.
Overnight stay in Sigiriya
Enjoy breakfast at hotel.
Head off to the Sigiriya rock fortress, which boasts one of the world's oldest planted gardens.
To get a fantastic look at the royal palace, pool, and throne, you'll need to climb to the top of the rock.
Relax and take in the stunning vistas from the peak. Stop by the Pidurangala temple later on.
Later, drive to Polonnaruwa and see the dozens of ancient temples, Buddha statues, and many other ancient structures built by ancient kings.
Visit the Polonnaruwa Cultural Museum to see an audience hall, enormous stone-cut Buddha statues, dagobas, and much more.
In the evening take an off-road jeep safari to witness the massive assembly at Minneriya Lake.
Enhance your experience with a wildlife safari at Minneriya National Park. Expect to see wild animals such as leopards, elephants, bears, wild boars, buffalo, monkeys, and deer.

Depart early for Kandy
Enroute visit Dambulla Golden Temple. Dambulla is home to plethora of old murals and around 150 statues of Budha.
Enroute visit Spice and herb garden on the way to Kandy.
Continue the journey to Kandy City, your next destination.
Kandy is one of Sri Lanka's most important cities due to the Sacred tooth temple. Thousands of devotees visit this temple every day, making it the most popular Buddhist shrine on the island.
Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.
